Malcolm McDonell

Malcolm McDonell is a retired teacher. He has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than 40 years and has helped facilitate yoga retreats and meditation gatherings, alongside other community  and environmental interests. Kaoshikii means “dance for mental expansion”. It is a yogic dance with benefits for everyone, but especially for women. It is reputed to be able to cure 22 different types of disease. Kaoshikii is a ‘mudraic dance’ – that is a dance using hand gestures, which express subtle ideas. P.R.Sarkar (founder of Ananda Marga) introduced this innovation to yoga in 1978.
